Port Stephens Council Administration Building

Port Stephens Council is located at Raymond Terrace which is the administration centre of the Local Government area extending from Fern Bay in the south to Karuah in the north and from Shoal Bay in the east to Woodville in the west.

The township of Raymond Terrace is located at the junction of the Hunter and Williams Rivers and is a 30-minute drive north of Newcastle on the Pacific Highway.

Directions - from Sydney

From Sydney, take the Pacific Highway north and turn right onto the F3 Freeway at Warrawee (just before Hornsby).

Continue along the Sydney-Newcastle Freeway for approximately 106km to the John Renshaw Round-a-bout taking the third exit and following the sign to Hexham and Pacific Highway (BP Service Station and Burger King are on your left).  The road veers to the right across an overpass and merges with the New England Highway travelling in an easterly direction.  Follow the signs to Taree and Pacific Higway veering left and crossing the Hunter River at the Hexham Bridge. Proceed north along the Pacific Highway a further 8 kilometres, at the Heatherbrae round-a-bout take the first exit, at the next round-a-bout take the third exist crossing the Windeyers Creek and proceed along Adelaide Street through two major intersections (traffic lights) the first being Glenelg Street the next William Street.  The Court House and Police Station are located on the far left hand corner of this intersection.

Turn left 100 metres past the William Street intersection into the Administration Building carpark.

Customer Service, the Council Chambers and Committee Meeting Rooms are located on the ground floor of the Administration Building.
