Nature Watch

Last modified: February 12, 2008 - 10:25 AM

The Study of Seasonality in Nature in Australia - an initiative in biodiversity awareness and education.

Are you interested in the surrounding environment and its seasonal changes?

If so Nature Watch can help you to record what is happening in your local area.

Nature Watchis a process of observing and recording what happening in the world around us to discover the wonderful and predictable sequences and patterns in nature.  This includes the times of the year when flowering plants form their buds, flower and fruit, and when various animals appear, migrate and return to breed.

Diaries are currently available free of charge and can be obtained from Council's Environmental Education Officer.  During 2008 the Nature Watch Diaries will be updated and revamped, and are likely to cost $5 next year.
