Learn how to save money and the environment and its free!

Port Stephens Council is developing and delivering a Sustainable Living workshop program. 

The program involves a series of free, hands-on workshops for the community in an enjoyable atmosphere.  The workshops aim to help residents reduce their impact on the environment and live a more sustainable lifestyle.

Themes for 2009 include:

  • Composting and Worm farming
  • Solar Power
  • Water and energy conservation
  • Natural cleaning
  • Backyard biodiversity
  • Keeping chickens
  • Growing your own vegies
  • Nature Watching
