There are several picturesque parks and beach sites that can be booked for wedding ceremonies in Port Stephens.
Parks and beach sites that can be booked for wedding ceremonies in Port Stephens are:
- Barry Park located on Pacific Drive, Fingal Bay
- Native Flora Garden located at Fly Point, Nelson Bay
- Riverside Park located at Hunter Street Raymond Terrace
- Fly Point Amphitheatre located on Victoria Parade, Nelson Bay
- Henderson Park located at Cook Parade Lemon Tree Passage
- Sunset Park located at Caswell Crescent, Tanilba Bay
- Pearson Park, Soldiers Point
- Waterfront reserves, beaches and lookouts located along the foreshores in the Port Stephens area (Birubi Beach, Corlette, Dutchies Beach, Soldiers Point, Lemon Tree Passage)
Terms & Conditions
Please be aware that the following terms and conditions do apply when booking a beach or park in the Port Stephens Area.
- Vehicle access and parking on reserves is not permitted
- Parks and Reserves are public areas and free access to all areas by the public must be maintained
- It is not permitted to display posters or signs on telegraph poles, trees or anywhere within roadways advertising the event
- All information pertaining to electricity, caterers, structures such as marquees, amusement devices including the use of pyrotechnics and sound amplification must be supplied to Council
- Alcohol consumption is not permitted in Council reserves from the hours of 9pm to 8am
- When approved, Council will send written confirmation of booking to the applicant
- Payment is to be made after booking is approved and prior to event taking place
- Public Liability Insurance may have to be provided determined on application
There is a cost involved to hire a park, beach area or reserve for a wedding. If you wish to book a park, reserve or beach please contact the Facilities and Services Administration Officer.
